The city of London at late evening |
Alhamdulillah
our journey from Paris (Gare du Nord) to London (King's Cross St.Pancrass)
station was so much electrifying and thrilling (this was the 1st
time both of us got into eurostar J), and most importantly
we arrived there safely. The station itself was big and busy at that time.
We didn’t
explore much there as we were rushing trying to figure out how to get to our
hotel. Oh before I forget, we actually bought a Lebara’s sim card to be used in
UK for these few days. Okay we were lucky because we get helped by the local
and she directed us on how to use subway in London. It was confusing because
there were a lot of lines in UK. So we had to take the right line so that we
could arrive to our hotel faster. From the King’s Cross we went to Bayswater
station where our hotel located, it took us around 20 mins. That’s not a big
issue but once we got to Bayswater we had problem to find our hotel. We asked mainly
all the people on the street but none of them know the hotel. Most of them just
know that the Central Park hotel is Baywater but they didn’t know the exact
location.

One of our room's corner..so tired |
After nearly 45 mins roaming around, my wife finally found our HOME
and we quickly check in as we were so tired at that time. Central Park hotel
was just the other block of the Bayswater station and also few doors from
Malaysian’s Hall, I should do my research first next time to avoid this kind of
thing from repeated. We settled ourselves in the room, solat, ate and had a
rest a moment or two because we planned to have a walk at the famous Oxford Street. There are so much to say at the Oxford Street so i will continue in the next entry :)
